What PvP Set bonus should I use?

Four-piece Dreadweave is Best in Slot. Double two-piece is a bad idea, don’t do it.

What about the fifth piece that isn’t required for a set bonus?

Go for whichever one is best based on the stats. Most often this will be the helm as Felweave.

How big are stats differences between seasons?

Season 1 → Season 2: Huge upgrade.
Season 2 → Season 3: Minor upgrade.

What are the best PVE pieces to use?

The best PvE pieces are the Lurker ring, VST (situational), Tempest of Chaos, and thrash cloak in P3. Everything else is worse than PvP gear (at least for standard SL/SL 2s)

What upgrade should I get first in Season 3?

S3 prio buy is OH by an enormous margin. S3 OH is a bigger upgrade than 3-4 more expensive pieces combined.

Where should I be getting my Spell Penetration to offset Prayer of Shadow Protection?

The wand is not an ideal slot to get your spell pen. S3 OH, rings (if Vindicator ring is in-game), and cloak enchant should be enough for cap (70 Spell Penetatrion). Use 1 gem if you’re not capped, shoulder blue slot is a good spot for that.

Should I use PVE or PVP weapons?

Get the S3 PvP weapon if you can, but PvE weapons are almost as good. ToC is potentially better than S3 weapon based on matchup and you can switch weapons anyway. (This also depends on your comp of course.) ToC is better than S2 weapon.

What neck should we get in Phase 3?

Haste neck is not available in P3. Go for Vindicator's of Dominance.

In what order should I be spending my hard-earned PvP currencies?

Best PvP items to own in order: 4pc S2 -> S OH -> Honor pieces (because not time gated) -> Weapon -> Luxury (wand, VS3T).

Does my previous season set bonus carry over with newer season items?

All season pieces share set bonuses as long as they are the same kind of set (Dreadweave vs Felweave).

When do we get a new cloak upgrade?

Badge PvP cloak will be available at P4 with ZA launch for 60 badges.

What about rings?

You can use both S2 and S3 rings together.

What gems should I use?

Ogrila and Terrokar meta gems are equally good, depending on preference if you want to get 5% stun or 5% snare resist with Surefooted. Stam/stun resist gem is the worst option in S3 because you do not want to use spell pen gems anymore and 3 blues will gimp you on spell damage and resilience while only giving you stamina.
